Arato integrates with leading model providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI) and cloud platforms that host models, including Microsoft Azure AI, AWS Bedrock and GCP Vertex AI.
Key Types in Arato
Arato supports two types of API keys:
1. Organization Shared Keys
• Visible to all workspace members • Immediately available across all Arato features • Ideal for centrally managed access • Can only be added by admins
2. Personal Keys
• Private to the individual user • Useful when working with specific providers or custom setups
Note: Admins can restrict the ability to add personal keys
Adding a New API Key
To add a new API key:
Go to Settings → API Key Management → Add a Key
Select the Vendor (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic)
Enter a Key Name and API Key Value
Add a Description (optional)
Example:
After adding your keys, you can use them for any experiment you run in Arato, ensuring secure and consistent access to your selected models.
